I'm so good at the pour over method now that I figured out how to alter the stupid melitta filters (I'm so sure, Jake). I even had a full bloom this morning! And the grounds weren't even that fresh. Also, it tastes so much better, and I can't believe I'd been doing it so wrong all these years.
