This blog, I realize I talk about dogs in it a lot. But you must understand, I have come from a place that hates dogs for the most part. Kids and adults both liked to throw rocks at them. In fear mostly, though I found the dogs back there to mind their own business. People in that country do not have pets. They think that animals only belong outside. And that is okay. That is their culture. But they did fear most animals. At night the dogs liked to howl, but that is it.
Now I am somewhere where everyone loves dogs. Today I went thrifting and found a city that does not understand thrifting all that much. I would like to mention, however, that one of the thrift shops had a very friendly dog inside with a soft and shiny coat. When I gave up on thrifting, I wandered into a giant park near my soon-to-be apartment. This park was full of dogs! Running and bouncing all over the place, happy as can be. I probably saw thirty dogs. This is now my park. I will live in this park during my time in this city. This park and the bookshop that serves beer.
